K2 Company started to work in 1991 as two different offices by the name of Al-Baraa engineering bureau and Al-Khaseeb bureau. These bureaus perform a various projects including (Mechanical, electrical and civil works in the field of water and waste water treatment) in many industrial enterprises all over Iraq.

In 2003, the bureaus have joined and created K2 General Contracting Ltd.

K2 company has excellent technical teams in different specialties consists of consulting engineers with high level proficiency and knowledge together with long experience, that was gained in power plants, refineries and water treatment with specific qualification in projects construction.

K2 Company can handle complete projects on (turnkey) basis including civil, mechanical and electrical works and can take care to supply necessary equipment and auxiliaries.

K2 Company has shown and proven its ability to review drawings and specifications, working with its estimating staff and a large number of subcontractors, suppliers to produce the best cost and most efficient schedule for the projects.
